Helped Carmen with her project at School of Design.

The theme is about guy wears girls' outfit but not skirts or dresses. Dress in style!

We started from shopping to dresing up and make up. It was pretty fun.
Having fun in the studio. We're all flatmates! haha...including the model! Yes! a guy! Jerry. He's quite professional in posing though! haha! And Carmen is a girl who wears guy's outfit to contrast with the look..

While they are changing/doing their make up, me and Jeremy will play around with the camera taking our own shoots..haha

National Student Volunteering Week

Was involved in the National Student Volunteering Week. Walked around the Uni with some blocks of Duplos..to raise awareness on the Volunteering Week...a theatre like thingy..

15th day of Chinese New Year 2010

Being away from home is when we learn to be independent...and try new things, new food! haha

We made the glutinous rice balls together. It is the Chinese tradition to have this dessert on Chinese New Year's eve but we do it on the 15th instead. The main purpose of this dessert is about family unity..in chinese the glutinuous rice ball is called 'tang yuen' so it sounds like 'tuan yuen' means unite together as a whole in happiness. We're not with our family but with friends which brings another meaning 'friendship'!

It was really fun! We put some fillings in the ball...like cane sugar, cheese, Gin (liquor), raisins etc..in all kind of shapes and use milk as the soup! hahaha kind weird but it was good!

Chinese New Year 2010

After 4 years! I had my Chinese New Year in Newcastle again!

It was good. We went to Chinatown to celebrate. The dragon dance was really funny..the danc come before the drum! hahaha..the lion dance is very different too..well..but still the people here just love it! they find it interesting! haha..yeah but anyhow..at least we still get to celebrate it together!

It was a good day..we went out with a bunch of friends from different places..we have Taiwan, HongKong, France, British, Korea, Spain, Macau and me..Malaysia! Culture fuse! haha

We went to the Little Asia for hotpot in Chinatown.

Flatmate (Carmen)'s birthday

It was our lovely Carmen's birthday. This little girl is from Hong Kong..youngest in our flat..very bubbly, open, kind, funny and nice! hahaha

We suppose to have a surprise party for her but someone accidentally/unintentionally told her..but it was fine..we still have a surprise for her the next day..haha

We had hotpot using rice cooker! which was so cool and fun! LOL

And Carmen drank too much Gin before she finish her food..and she got drunk! (all Jerry's fault) haha

it was really worrying because she went into her room and locked herself..we couldn't get her..and we went to the security to open her door to see if she's alright. She was hugging the toilet bowl and looks like sleeping..haha we then carried her to her bed n she slept till the next day..at the other hand, this Jerry was half drunk..didn't know we draw on his face!! haha
